It’s finally one of our FAVORITE weeks of the year! 🎉 It’s time to celebrate Homecoming at CMS! 🧡💙

As we celebrate, please remind students that their wardrobe choices must still follow our school dress code policy. A few other reminders:

🚫 No painted faces or masks.
🧢 Hats ARE allowed this week, as long as they do not become a distraction to the learning environment.

🏈 HOMEcoming Game — September 3 at 7:00 PM
Join us as we cheer on our Hawks! Our Homecoming Ceremony will take place during halftime.

🎉 Fabulous Friday FUNdraiser — September 4
Students will be able to purchase treats throughout the school day, with proceeds benefiting our CMS clubs and organizations. Bring a few extra dollars and enjoy some treats while supporting our students!

A huge win tonight for our Hawks! A big defensive stop late in the 4th quarter as our boys held on to beat Cherokee. Final score: Clinton 44, Cherokee 38.

Last year, I handmade over 80 custom winter hats for students at my littles school, and it was truly one of my favorite projects. This year, I’m doing it again - but bigger!

I’ve already had so many people reach out asking how they can donate or help, so I created an Amazon Wishlist specifically for yarn!

Every single hat is handmade by me, and up until now, the cost of the yarn has come directly out of my own pocket. As this project grows and I’m able to make hats for even more kids, so does the cost of supplies. If you’d like to be a part of this project, purchasing a skein (or two!) from the wishlist would be incredibly helpful!

I’ll officially start making hats next month, so I’m hoping to get a good stash of yarn built up before the project begins!

There is absolutely no pressure to donate, but for those who have asked how they can help - this is the best way!
