It’s time to fill those bookshelves! Our Scholastic Book Fair will be set up in the front hallway from September 28–October 2, and families are welcome to shop throughout the entire week!

Our school is proud to participate in the Moms Helping Moms Foundation Donation Drive, and our families truly showed up! From diapers and wipes to other essential items, we received an amazing collection of donations to help support local families in need.

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make a difference. Your kindness, generosity, and willingness to give back to our community mean so much! Together, we can help ensure that every baby has the essentials they need. 🍼💙

📚✨ **Grandparents Mystery Reader Week!** ✨📚

What a special week celebrating Grandparents Day at The Goddard School! 💙

We invited grandparents to be our Mystery Readers, surprising their grandchild’s class with a special storytime visit. We had an amazing turnout, and the children absolutely loved all the special visits! ❤️📖 Thank you to all of the grandparents who joined us and helped make this week so memorable.

Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
