📸 Meet KJ, one of our new Student Content Creators at our Clinton campus!

Throughout the year, KJ will be giving you a student’s-eye view of EICC—sharing what it’s like to take classes online while still finding ways to connect, get involved and be part of campus life.

We’ll let KJ introduce herself:

"Hello! My name is KJ Remrey, I am second-year student here at CCC who's studying Graphic Arts Technology in hopes to one day become a professional photographer or web designer.

I originally started taking college classes through EICC in high school, but chose to pursue my associate degree here because of the affordability and all the wonderful opportunities CCC offers. After graduation, I plan on transferring to Iowa State University to earn my bachelor's degree!

In my spare time, I am often found with my friends and family, practicing taekwondo, or hanging out with the Fits and Minds group on Gaming Guild Wednesdays! As your new student content creator, my goal is to show what life is like as an online college student and how you can stay involved on campus. If you see me around campus, feel free to say hi!"

Bickelhaupt Arboretum has been named a 2026 Grow Clinton VALUE Spotlight Innovation Award recipient for its role in bringing Thomas Dambo’s trolls to Clinton.

In just three months, the trolls drew at least 94,000 visitors and helped shine a bigger spotlight on Clinton, the arboretum, and the community.
