Mental health care for pregnant and postpartum individuals is critical.

For new or expectant mothers, seeking mental health support early on and practicing self-care can help with feelings of anxiety or depression that may accompany pregnancy and early motherhood.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 or text TALK to 741741. You are not alone and help is available. đź’™

Remember, how we talk about su***de in media and online shapes public understanding of mental health and su***de. When done responsibly, it can reduce stigma and encourage help-seeking, while unethical coverage may negatively influence the health outcomes of those who are vulnerable or at risk of su***de.
