🌟 More Than a Credit: Find Your Place, Make an Impact! 🌟Our Morgan School students recently explored new ways to connect and give back at the Community Engagement Fair! Organized by the Clinton PlaceMakers, the fair gave students the opportunity to connect with local organizations spanning environmental causes, animal welfare, youth mentorship, local arts, and community support services. At Morgan, community service isn't just about logging hours—it’s about:
✨ Building real-world leadership and communication skills ✨ Exploring potential career paths and building a resume ✨ Earning high school credits and qualifying for local scholarships ✨ Making a meaningful difference right here in our town Whether helping people, caring for animals, protecting the environment, or strengthening our local area, our students are discovering that you don't have to change the entire world to change someone's world. 📸 Check out photos from the fair below! 👇

Morgan students traveled to UConn Avery Point to participate in the annual UConn ECE Cardboard Boat Race. The day brings ECE students from across Connecticut together to experience the UConn campus, participate in academic activities, and put their creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to the test. The day concluded with the always-popular cardboard boat race, where students raced boats built entirely from cardboard and duct tape!

Whether through our observed moments of silence when students and staff offered their thoughts and prayers or during meaningful classroom discussions, Clinton Public Schools are doing their part to ensure that we never forget the legacy of September 11, 2001 and the profound impact this day has had on America.

We are pleased to share that at last night’s Board of Education meeting, Mr. Aaron Reich was appointed as the new Assistant Principal of Joel Elementary School!

Aaron brings nearly 20 years of experience in education, having served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, Interim Principal, and Interim Assistant Principal. He was selected from a highly competitive pool of more than 100 applicants.

Throughout the selection process, Aaron stood out for his student-centered approach, commitment to building strong relationships, and collaborative leadership style. We are confident that his experience and dedication to students and families will make him a wonderful addition to the Joel School community.

Aaron will begin his new role later this week and is pictured here with Joel Principal Teresa Gingrave.

Please join us in welcoming Aaron to Clinton Public Schools and the Joel Elementary School community!
