UPDATE:

I hope this message finds everyone doing well.
I just learned that Brian passed away after losing the battle to cancer (melanoma). He first found out about the cancer three years ago and received treatment. He won that round and thought everything was good. Unfortunately it wasn’t. The cancer had metastasized and spread to his brain and organs. After what I’m sure were many emotional days and nights discussing his options with his family and doctors, Brian elected not to receive any further treatment.
Brian was a 1991 CHS graduate along with us. After graduation, he attended community college and then chose to be a Cyclone, graduating from ISU in 1996.
Brian also served his country in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of Sergeant.
After the military, he worked in college admissions at Ashford University in Norcross, Georgia. In 2018 he took a position as a Customer Service Manager for Theragenics Corporation in Buford, Georgia, where he settled around 2019 and married his wife (Sara) in 2020. They had a beautiful daughter, Skylar (5, I believe). Brian also has a son, Brody, from a previous marriage.
Brian was a loving husband, father, and son. He was also a friend to all that ever met him. He will be missed.
His Mom has blessed off on making this post on our FB page to update people. I’m unsure if there is anything set up in his memory, but if I find anything else out I’ll update.
Class of 1991: Memorials can be sent via Venmo
All monetary donations collected is going into a fund for his 2 kids. He has a 14 yo son and a 3.5 yo daughter.
