Voyage Academy Voyage Academy is an Expeditionary Learning School located in Clinton, Utah. Serving Grades K-6

Voyage Academy opened in the Fall of 2013 and offers a style of teaching known as Expeditionary Learning. This approach involves hands on experience by taking the child outside of the classroom to learn. Students participate in semester long studies called expeditions that will teach them in depth information about a topic as well as meet the State core curriculum requirements. EL also teaches students team work skills by working in daily groups called "Crews" It is in these Crews that students are encouraged by their fellow peers to compete, not against each other but, against their best selves in achieving their greatest results. More of this style of learning can be found on the EL website http://elschools.org/
Or in Ron Berger's book "An Ethic of Excellence"

Today we wanted to celebrate our amazing Principal/Director, Kami Coleman, just because! 💙

We hid little face statues of Kami around the school for staff to find. When someone found one, they brought it to her and shared something they love and appreciate about her.

It was so fun hearing what everyone had to say! Our staff loves that Kami knows our students, is involved in everything, truly cares about her staff like family , and always has everyone’s best interest at heart. She is passionate, understanding, caring, and loves Voyage with her whole heart. And of course, we couldn’t leave out the many comments about her amazing hair! 😂💁‍♀️

We are so blessed to have Kami leading and directing our Voyage family. We appreciate you, Ms Coleman! 💙⚓️
