Central Mississippi Daffodil Society Founded in 1982, the Central Mississippi Daffodil Society (CMDS) hosts a daffodil show every year in March. CMDS meets in the fall and in the spring.

Since the formation of CMDS in 1982, a daffodil show has been held every year except for 2014. As the nucleus of workers for our show is small to start with the absence of Ted and Bea Snazelle necessitated not doing a show in 2014. That being said, we have already scheduled the 2015 Southern Region Daffodil Show on Saturday, March 14, 2015, Alumni Hall Gymnasium, Mississippi College, Clinton, MS.

Staging will be on Friday, March 13, 2015. Entries will be received on Friday afternoon and evening of March 13, 2015. Entries will be received again on Saturday morning, March 14, 2015, until 10:00 a.m. We also hopeful to have a photography competition in 2015, too. In addition to hosting a daffodil show every year since 1982 except for 2014, CMDS also has hosted the 1997 and 2011 American Daffodil Society Conventions.

General information

The Central Mississippi Daffodil Society holds two meetings a year, one in the fall and the other in early spring. Also, a daffodil show is held every March, usually the second weekend.
