🌟 MAY RISE UP! ASSEMBLY 🌟

We had an awesome May Rise Up! Assembly celebrating our students, our school, and some good old-fashioned fun!

A huge thank you to the Clinton Public Library for joining us and sharing their amazing summer reading opportunity, Plant a Seed. Read! We are excited for our students to keep growing as readers all summer long!

We also celebrated our May Rise Up! Champs from each grade level, Specials, and our Mr. Randy Award winner. These students showed Respect, Integrity, Safety, and Excellence all month long. Way to go, Champs!

We also took a group picture of all of our Attendance Champs of the Week from throughout the year. Look at all those kids! We are so proud of our students for showing up, working hard, and making attendance matter!

To wrap up the assembly, we had a little tug-of-war fun! We started with 5th grade vs. 5th grade, and then Ms. Peters’ class took on the downstairs staff. Let’s just say… that one did not end well for the kids! 😄

What a fun way to celebrate our Jefferson students and the end of a great month!

Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Kuster on her retirement! Mrs. Kuster retired earlier this school year after serving as Jefferson’s Cook Manager for the past three years.

During her time at Jefferson, she helped make sure our students were welcomed, cared for, and ready to learn each day by serving nutritious meals. Her kindness, hard work, and dedication made a difference in the lives of our students!

Thank you, Mrs. Kuster, for everything you have done for Jefferson. We wish you all the best in retirement!

Please help us celebrate Mrs. Johnson as she retires after many wonderful years at Jefferson! Mrs. Johnson has been a para educator at Jefferson since 1998 and has made an incredible impact on generations of students.

She has always gone the extra mile to support students in whatever they needed. Whether it was helping in the classroom, encouraging a student through a hard moment, or simply being someone others could always count on, Mrs. Johnson showed what it means to serve!

Thank you, Mrs. Johnson, for your dedication, patience, and love for Jefferson students. You will always be part of the Jefferson family!

Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Moore on her retirement! Mrs. Moore has been a fixture at Jefferson for over 30 years and has helped so many students learn to read, grow as readers, and discover a love for reading!

Students always seemed to leave her room with a smile because of the way she made them feel. Her kindness, encouragement, and belief in students helped build confidence and created memories that will last far beyond their time at Jefferson.

Thank you, Mrs. Moore, for the countless lives you have touched and for the love of reading you have shared with our students. We wish you a wonderful retirement!

Please help us celebrate Mrs. Christoffersen as she retires after many years of service to our district! Mrs. Christoffersen has been part of the Clinton Community School District since 1997 and has served as the LRC Director at Jefferson and Bluff!

Throughout her career, she has been a strong advocate for helping students build digital literacy skills while also embedding positive life lessons into her teaching. She helped students grow as readers, thinkers, problem-solvers, and people.

Thank you, Mrs. Christoffersen, for your dedication to students, your passion for learning, and the positive impact you have made across our district. We wish you the very best in retirement!
