Summer is a busy shopping month for The Write Stuff for Kids Inc.! This morning we delivered our first batch for supplies for the August 8 distribution to students.
In our first round of shopping, we have noticed significant price increases on some items.

It's time to sign up for free school supplies!
Parents may visit our website at www.writestuffforkids.com to sign up for supplies. Our distribution date is August 8 from 8 to noon at the Clinton Junior High School.

The Clinton Academy has released its statistics for the 2025-26 school year.
The academy celebrated 20 graduating seniors. A total of 22 completed their credits for graduation and two (juniors) have chosen to return next year to the academy instead of graduating.
Four students will be returning to the high school next year and nine will return to the academy.
We congratulate Clinton Academy staff Director Kate Deardorff and teacher Denise King for their work with the 37 students who walked through the door for class this year.
Clinton Academy offers flexible schedules and individualized instruction for high school students with a goal of earning a diploma.

It's Sign-Up Time for parents who may need school supplies for their families in August.
Forms went home this week with students who will be entering kindergarten through 5th grade. Please return the forms to classroom teachers. Parents can also sign up on our website www.writestuffforkids.com.
We appreciate having forms completed soon. Your cooperation makes our summer shopping blitz go smoothly!

The Weldon Springs Foundation welcomes new members to its organization that helps with educational programs and activities for children and adults. The Texas Town Hall nature center and the Union Schoolhouse rely on volunteers to help Weldon Springs State Park Educator Patty Kinder bring nature and history to life.

We express our gratitude to Constellation for the generous $5,000 donation to help us accomplish our mission of helping Clinton students and teachers with the supplies and assistance they need to succeed.
Our ability to help families relies on the support we receive from our community partners: individuals, businesses, churches and community groups who believe in what we do.
We have started our 2026-2027 campaign to secure the funds for our summer shopping blitz of school supplies.
Can you envision the number of folders, pencils, glue sticks and markers it takes, along with other items, to supply a student for school?
