Clinton Public School District has eight schools with approximately 4,974 students enrolled. The Department of Child Nutrition employees a team of 37 food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We have six operating school cafeterias and we take pride in serving students approximately 110,330 breakfast meals and 562,776 lunch meals each school year. All of our foodservice managers are ServSafe Certified. We support learning by promoting good nutrition and by providing students access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet their nutritional needs. Clinton Public School District's Department of Child Nutrition is administered through the United States Department of Agriculture, the Mississippi State Department of Education, and the local School Board. It is our goal to serve well balanced, nutritious and safe meals to all students, faculty, and staff members of the school district. This department is a self-supporting and nonprofit program that receives federal, state and local funding. Local funds are generated from the meal payments.

We're on the countdown to the launch of the Lovett Breakfast Club ~ April 16th - May 18th. Participation will be rewarded. The more you eat school breakfast, the more your name goes into the hat. Students- Come and join the fun at Lovett Breakfast Club! It kicks off April 16th through May 18th. Each day you eat school breakfast your name will be entered into a drawing for MANY prizes. There will be daily, weekly, mid-program, and grand prize drawings (see attached flyer). Breakfast is served daily from 7:30-8:00 a.m. Hope to see you there!
