📣 THE AGENDAS HAVE ARRIVED! 🎉📚
We are excited to share that student agendas are finally here and will be distributed to students tomorrow!
As we begin using agendas, we want families to be aware of our schoolwide agenda expectations:
✏️ Every Class, Every Day: Students should write something in their agenda for EVERY class, EVERY day. This includes homework, assignments, upcoming tests/quizzes, reminders, or even “No Homework.”
✍️ Parent Signature: Parents/guardians should review and sign the agenda EVERY night. This is a great way to stay connected to what your student is working on each day!
📓 Keep It in the Binder: Agendas should remain housed in the student’s binder so they are available throughout the entire school day.
🚨 PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE PLASTIC COIL! The plastic coil is what holds the agenda together and should remain intact.
📖 Student agendas also contain important SMS information and resources that students and families may need throughout the school year, including:
SMS schedules
SMS Student Handbook
Schoolwide expectations
Disciplinary procedures
Student Code of Conduct
Our goal is to help students build strong habits in organization, responsibility, and communication between school and home. We encourage families to use the agenda as a resource and check it nightly with their student.
