From breakfast with our veterans to the community tailgate and Friday night football, Salute to Service brought Clinton together to recognize those who have served and those serving today. Our Redwolves Salutes displays shared the faces and stories of CHS alumni, family members, staff and community members, connecting generations through service.

Thank you to our veterans, military members and families for joining us, and to everyone who helped make the week possible:

🇺🇸 Our recruiters: SFC Joseph Schettler for providing the tailgate inflatables; SSG Marchand for his support and attendance; and SSG Cyle Satterlee and SFC Michael Stone for their guidance and special pre-game recognition.

🐺 Our students and coaches: Coach Randolph, the football team and coaches, cheerleaders and band, with special thanks to the players and cheerleaders who welcomed and served our veterans at breakfast.

❤️ Our school team: Facilities staff for setup and cleanup; Mr. Hartung and Mr. Brown for coordinating logistics; Mrs. Petipren for the wonderful breakfast; Mr. Davis & leadership students for help with setup and guidance with shirt and hat graphics; and Mr. Beazley and Katie Bennett for their continued support.

🤝 Our community partners: Tecumseh Team Red, White & Blue, Tecumseh VFW Post 4187, Woodworking for Warriors, the American Legion Post 176, the Taco Truck of Clinton, Monahan's Crispy Cluckin Chicken and Bucket List Beans Mobile Canteen.

To everyone who volunteered, attended, shared a service member’s story or supported the event—thank you for helping carry this Clinton tradition forward.

CHS Salute to Service Week 2026 🇺🇸

Behind this meaningful week is someone who pours her heart into making it happen… Our high school counselor, Mrs. Kutzley. For the past 6 years, she has dedicated countless hours to bringing our school and community together to honor our veterans and active service members.

She doesn’t do it for recognition. She does it because she cares deeply about our community and believes those who serve deserve to feel our gratitude. Her work gives our students opportunities to understand the meaning of service and helps our veterans and military families know how much they are valued.

Mrs. Kutzley, thank you for the time, care, and heart you give to this tradition. We are so grateful for what you do and, even more, for who you are ❤️🇺🇸

Salute to Service Week ❤️🤍💙

We are still accepting RSVPs for Friday's breakfast, if you are interested in attending please contact Mrs. Kutzley by Monday 10/5. All military members are welcome to attend regardless of their alumni status.

We have had over 100 submissions for the Redwolves Salutes posters, we welcome additional submissions for any CHS alumni or community member through Wednesday 10/7.

Clinton High School is proud to host a Veterans Breakfast on Oct 9th at 7:30am in the cafeteria at CHS. We invite veterans, active-duty service members, and their families to join us for a light breakfast and recognition from our students. Please RSVP Mrs. Kutzley, [email protected] / 517-456-2001

We’re also gathering information for our Redwolves Salutes posters, which honor CHS graduates who have served or are currently serving. Families may submit information on their behalf, including for graduates in basic training, active duty, retired or in memory of those who have passed away.

Join us for our Salute to Service Community Tailgate! 🇺🇸

🏈 Before Clinton takes on Ida!

Bring the family for food from The Taco Truck of Clinton and Monahan's Crispy Cluckin’ Chicken, coffee from Bucket List Beans Mobile Canteen, and two bounce houses for the kids!

Visit with Team RWB, Tecumseh VFW, Clinton American Legion, and the Lenawee County Veterans Coalition as we come together in appreciation of our veterans, service members, and military families.

Limited seating available—bring lawn chairs or a picnic blanket!

Everyone is welcome. Come hungry and wear your past or present Salute to Service shirt or favorite Clinton apparel!
