Today is School Custodian Appreciation Day!
Here at Van Duyn, we have 2 of the best. Ms Kim and Mr Jim makes sure our school stays clean and safe. They also make sure everything is ready for our PTO events. There is no way to measure the impact they have on our school, students, staff, and parents. You are both appreciated not just today, but everyday! 🧡🖤

Van Duyn has a new student and he is HUNGRY!!

We are having a Feed the Monster Candy contest. All candy will be used at our Trunk or Treat event. The class that brings in the most individual pieces of candy will win a treat or a trick from the PTO! Please label all bags of candy with students name and teacher.

Today we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who is a part of our PTO! 🥰

From our amazing board members and volunteers, to our staff members, families, and generous fundraiser supporters- every single one of you plays an important part of making our PTO possible.

We couldn’t do all of our fun events, activities, and support we provide to Van Duyn students and staff without YOU!

Today was the students’ favorite, SNACK DAY!!!

This is our biggest fundraiser and the most popular. HUGE thank you to 4 generous donations that allow every kid to participate for the year! 🧡🖤🧡 2 Anonymous Donators, Nancy Webster, and Swinford Farms/ReFeed Innovations.

We loved seeing the students with their special guest and we know the students did too!

A huge THANK YOU to the Wayne and Amy Laswell for the monetary donation to help with the cost of the donuts, McDonalds for supplying the coffee, and most of all the parent volunteers who helped set up, tear down, made donut runs, and worked the event: Alexis Bunyo, Tara Corby, Mrs Downs, Mandy Hinkle, Robin Kelley, Brooke Laswell, Erin Morgan, Kierstin Naylor, Julie O’Connor, Macy Smith, Trisha Webster, and Miss Vukovits. Without the help of the volunteers this event would not have been possible! 🧡🖤🧡
