The Class of 2026 takes the Powder Puff crown! 🏈🩷

After coming up short as last year, the Class of 2027 returned under the lights as seniors on Sept. 18 and earned an impressive 14–6 victory over the junior Class of 2028 in the annual Powder Puff game!

Touchdowns by Madison Rey and Eliana Bentley, plus a tricky 2-point conversion from Claire MacPherson to Devyn Roy gave the seniors a strong 14-0 lead. The juniors made a strong late push with a TD by Delilah Forbes, but the seniors held firm to close out the win.

Great competitive spirit, sportsmanship and school spirit from both teams! ✨🏈

Congratulations to Clinton High School junior and field hockey captain Molly Randall on being named WUTR’s Athlete of the Week! 🏑☄️

Molly made her mark on the field last week, putting up an impressive six goals and six assists. Beyond her stat line, Coach Lindsay Brown also highlighted Molly’s qualities as a teammate. Brown credited her leadership, communication and ability to bring the team together both on and off the field as key to the team’s success.

Way to represent the Comets, Molly! 👏
