We met in the military and dated for 2 years before we got married. I'm a wedding officiant so I gave our pastor a few suggestions for our wedding script. ALL OF OUR VENDORS were FREE (except for the photographer) his mom is a wedding decorator, his cousin is a wedding coordinator and my mommy is a wedding planner. The venue was our church (ceremony in the sanctuary and reception in the basement) so the only thing that we really spent on was catering, photography and my look (dress, hair, nails, makeup). Hubby wore his uniform so the biggest expense was ME🤣

Our honeymoon was a road trip. We went to an escape room, painting with a twist & Sybaris in Indianapolis, horse back riding, an art museum dinner in Ohio and came back home (5 day honeymoon funded by the 3K we got from all our family and friends as wedding gifts).

Author Sloan Spencer made my day!! A book series about was the missing link for this artsy, Polyandrous Queen of Color! Glad I found her & this amazing book!

Representation matters, so when I discovered this book, I HAD TO GET IT!!
