Lily Marlene Snell has been part of the Faith Christian School family since preschool, and throughout the years she has faithfully used her gifts to serve the Lord and those around her.

Lily has been involved in Bible Quizzing, Fine Arts (both acting and instrumental), and school plays. She has also had the opportunity to travel on an overseas missions trip, an experience that helped shape her heart for ministry.

After graduation, Lily plans to attend Cedarville University to study linguistics and missions. When asked where she hopes to be in 10 years, Lily shared that she would love to be serving in South America as a missionary.

Lily greatly admires her grandpa, who has shown her what it means to truly “count it all joy” through the trials of life.

What a great day for our FCS Senior High MACS students at the MACS Fine Arts competition in Midland! 🎉

From strong performances in individual academic events to our choir earning 1st place, (and everything in between) our students represented so well. We are incredibly proud of the effort, preparation, and talents they displayed all day long!

A huge thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Holloway for the many hours they spent teaching, practicing, and encouraging these students. Their investment makes days like this possible! 👏🎶

Ryan Litke has been part of the Faith Christian School family since preschool.

Some of Ryan’s favorite memories include the everyday moments with friends, along with the excitement of winning the baseball state championship during his junior year.

After graduation, Ryan plans to attend Grand Canyon University, where he will study pre-med as he prepares for a future in the medical field.

Ryan says the person he admires most is his mom:“My mom. She is the most Christ-like person I know. She always puts others before herself in every aspect of life.”

Having Ryan at FCS for 13+ years has truly been a blessing. We will miss him and are excited to see all that God has in store for his future! 🎓⚾️

Participating in MACS Fine Arts is a privilege and a great opportunity for our students to develop their gifts for future ministry and service in the local church. On February 28, over 30 FCS students participated in a variety of group and individual categories.

We are proud of every one of them! A special thank you to our dedicated teachers and supportive parents who invest so much time encouraging and preparing our students for opportunities like this. 👏🎭🎶

Kenny is our second exchange student from Vietnam, and though he joined Faith Christian School just last year as a junior, it feels like he’s been part of the FCS family much longer. He quickly made friends and has been a joy to everyone who knows him.

In his short time here, Kenny has already celebrated big moments as a member of our soccer and baseball state championship teams — not a bad way to spend your first year in a new country!

When asked who his heroes are, Kenny shared:"My parents because of their work ethic and their passion in what they love."

After graduation, Kenny plans to study abroad in Australia.

Kenny, we’re so thankful God brought you to FCS. We can’t wait to see what God has ahead for you! 🌎✨

Isaac Kaynor has been part of the Faith Christian School family since 3rd grade, and he has certainly made the most of his time here.

When asked about his favorite school memory, winning spike ball at school camp tops the list. But he’ll quickly admit that soccer & baseball state championships have been sweet too.

Isaac looks up to his dad as his hero. “He is my example of a godly husband and father.” Some of Isaac’s favorite childhood memories are playing Little League with his dad as his coach.

His advice to underclassmen is simple, “Use all the gifts God has given you to their full potential, even in school.” Isaac has lived out that advice during his years at FCS, faithfully developing his talents and striving for excellence.

The History of FCS

In 1971, Calvary Baptist Church had a vision to start a Christian school in Roseville, Michigan.

Calvary Christian School opened its doors in 1972, meeting in an old church for the first two years before building a school facility on 12 Mile. In the beginning, Calvary Christian School only offered kindergarten through sixth grade. But the Lord blessed in many ways those first years. He provided skilled faculty and a continually growing student body and in 1978 the school graduated her first senior class.

In 1993, the school was purchased by Faith Baptist Church of Warren, Michigan and then relocated to our current location in Clinton Township. The Lord has graciously provided for each need and continues to bless FCS miraculously.

With over 500 graduates, FCS alumni have gone on to serve the Lord in many fields, including ministry, medicine, education, military, business, accounting, sales and entrepreneurial endeavors, among others.
