The Macomb ISD, our students, parents, teachers and staff would sincerely like to thank you for your support in passing the MISD special education bond. You continue the legacy of support for our special needs community. The money this bond raises will go a long way toward providing the facilities and equipment needed to continue the care and education Macomb County students and their families need. We are honored by the outpouring of love and support we have received during this campaign.

Make sure your voice is heard, and make time to vote tomorrow. It's an important part of our civic duty as citizens of this great county. Share a ride or walk together with a neighbor or a friend.
And when you vote, please consider the Macomb ISD special education bond, located on the back of the ballot. If passed, it would only cost the average homeowner 5-cents a day, while improving the quality of life and education for special needs students from all 21 county school districts.

Like your home, after years of use, school and instructional facilities eventually need updating and remodeling to stay useful. The Macomb ISD special education bond, if passed, would provide $97.465 million toward renovations, extensive upgrades or replacement of buildings and classrooms.

A lifetime of challenges face special needs students. Help from Macomb ISD Special Education programs can make a big difference in their young lives. Children can start receiving services soon after birth, and continue as they enter adulthood.
The Macomb ISD Special Education bond would, if approved, provide the funding to upgrade and renovate aging, outdated facilities, purchase new adaptive equipment and enhance the lives of many in our community. Please vote on the November 8 general election ballot. Look in the nonpartisan section on the back of the ballot for the bond proposal.
