Perhaps you bought a fern this spring at the plant sale and now that fall is here, you wish to find it a new home. Please bring the fern back to the school and the UMO students will divide it, grow them through the winter and give you one in the spring. This learning experience will benefit the program and we appreciate the donation. We will greatfully accept the ferns.
Contact Wylene Johnson at [email protected]
for further information, questions or for drop off instructions. Also, please limit the returns to three per customer to ensure we can serve all our customers.

We will be accepting the ferns during the dates of October 19 –
26, 2026.

Thank you for your support!

PGHS Community! We need your help!
Each year, PGHS is able to provide gifts for students who are in need during the Holiday season. We want to make sure each student and family can enjoy the Holiday season without the financial stress.

This year we need sponsors. To be a sponsor is to be a blessing to a family! As a sponsor, you will receive a student information list that tells you about the student, their clothing sizes, their needs and wants lists, and a few more things the student likes. There is no specific amount a sponsor needs to spend on their student; however, we ask that you provide one full outfit, at least one item off the wants list, and at least 1-2 items off the needs list. Feel free to go above and beyond, though!

I am so thankful for the community for always stepping up to help our students! Last year we were able to provide gifts to over 30 families, and we could not have done it without you!

If interested, please email Mrs. Bolton at [email protected] or call the school to speak with her at (336) 685-0728.
Thank You!

2027–28 FAFSA Now Open
The 2027–28 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now open. Students planning to attend postsecondary education should complete the FAFSA as soon as possible to be considered for federal, state and institutional grants, scholarships, work-study opportunities and loans.

For North Carolina public high school seniors, FAFSA completion is an important next step after exploring NC College Connect, which provides eligible seniors with direct admission to colleges and universities where they already meet admissions requirements without the traditional application process. After reviewing and accepting their college offers, students should consider exploring the FAFSA to learn what financial assistance may be available to help make college more affordable.

Find the 2027-28 FAFSA application here: https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa
