We are very grateful for the Chromebooks. What a generous donation! Our Gators thank you!

Another big THANK YOU to the D51 Foundation for donating $26,400 to bring Chromebook carts to Mt. Garfield Middle School, Orchard Mesa Middle School, and Redlands Middle School! Each cart contains about 30 Chromebooks.

Students use Chromebooks to explore learning in new ways, using programs, design tools, and information resources that require a computer. With help from the bond measure, the district's Bring Your Own Device program, and the D51 Foundation, the district is gradually getting closer and closer to the goal of having a device for every student!

Our annual Harvest Dance party takes place on Tuesday, October 31st. Students can wear costumes that adhere to the dress code and don't include blood, gore, violent themes,masks, or full face paint. Thanks to our wonderful Student Council for hosting this event!

Congratulations to these D51 Band Directors for receiving the Colorado Bandmasters Association Exemplary Band Award!! This state-level award is presented to bands who have demonstrated superior performances in concert band as well as two out of the four following areas: marching, solo ensemble, jazz band and total band student enrollment.

Many of these directors have won this award over the past several years, which showcases their dedication and commitment to quality in music. Tonight, the Board recognized and congratulate the following band directors and their bands for receiving the 2017-2018 Bandmaster Exemplary Band Award.
