Join in! 10:30 - 11:30 A.M. at the Fairfax County Government Center.
"Join Defend Democracy Indivisible to vote together at the Fairfax County Government Center – let’s start this voting season with an overwhelming number of voters – more than any other First Day!
We are meeting in the center courtyard across the street from the flagpoles in front of the main building (we have a permit).
There will be singing and talking, meeting , greeting and probably some electioneering. Together we will line the sidewalk and “march” into the polls to cast our ballots together.
Afterwards, come to the cafeteria (1st floor by the library) and drink coffee/tea and write a postcard with us.
Bring a friend or two. The best way to protect Democracy is to show up and vote!
Caveat: Signs cannot be carried into the voting area or large items.
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values."

From the Young Democrats at GMU. "We invite you to the return of our hallmark fundraiser, Pennies for Patriots, on September 26, 2026. P4P will return, in full, in time for this year’s midterm elections!

Democrats at Mason has long been one of the strongest and most influential Young Democratic chapters in our Commonwealth, and we would be deeply honored if you would share in our work to help keep GMU blue by engaging our campus and community as we approach the 2026 Midterms. With Democrats earning over 90% of the campus vote in 2025, we have a proven record of successfully using our resources to engage students and encourage participation within the party and to turn out for Democrats on election day.

All money raised at the event will go towards allowing student Democrats at Virginia’s largest and most diverse public university to continue to organize high-profile events, engage students on and off-campus, and get out the vote to elect and re-elect Democrats to offices at every level in the Commonwealth.

🇺🇸 𝑹𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 𝟏𝟏

Twenty-five years ago, our nation was changed forever.

On September 11, 2001, nearly 3,000 people lost their lives. Families lost loved ones. First responders ran toward danger. And communities across our country came together to help one another through unimaginable grief.

Today, we remember those we lost, honor the first responders and service members who answered the call, and recognize the extraordinary acts of courage and compassion that followed.

This somber anniversary reminds us that our democracy is strongest when we stand together – not when we are divided. It reminds us of the value of service, community, and looking out for our neighbors.

As Democrats, we believe those values are worth defending every day: democracy, opportunity, dignity, and a government that brings people together to solve problems and serve the common good.

Today, we 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿.
Today, we 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿.
And we will continue to work to build a country worthy of the sacrifices made on that day.

CAUGHT ON A HOT MIC: Ben Cline doesn't believe that there should be ANY pathway to citizenship for the more than 11 million undocumented immigrants currently facing illegal deportation and abuse from the Trump administration. It doesn't matter to Cline if Congress comes together on a bipartisan bill to finally fix our broken system or if a child was brought to the country as an infant and has never known another home: in his eyes, there is only one option, and it would sentence millions to destabilization, hunger, and death.
