We are excited to announce our recent big move (across the parking lot)! You can now find the dojo at 312 Clifton Ave, 2Fl (just look for the pink door). Class schedule remains the same, looking forward to seeing everyone at class!

It’s been a while since we have been able to share some exciting news: we are celebrating the promotion of two of our students to ni dan. Congrats to Shane and Cameron on their accomplishments!

CLASS IS CANCELLED - Sunday, February 7th, due to inclement weather. Stay safe and warm!

All karate classes are CANCELLED this evening (Tuesday, 12/15/2020) due to an incident of vandalism at the dojo. Last night, unknown individual(s) broke one of the front windows with a rock. Repairs will not be completed in time for class tonight.

Students, Parents, and Friends,

We are pleased to announce that in-person classes will resume effective TUESDAY, JULY 14, 2020. Classes will resume as previously scheduled on Tuesday and Friday evenings. Due to the Public Health Emergency we are currently experiencing, there will be some temporary modifications to our classes and curriculum to help reduce the risks of COVID-19:

1. Face coverings will be mandatory during classes. Exceptions will be allowed only for someone who cannot wear one for medical conditions. Proper medical note will be required. PARENTS/STUDENTS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN INDIVIDUAL FACE COVERING FOR CLASS. Failure or refusal to wear one will result in denial of entry.

2. Class size will be limited to 12 students per class, to allow for proper social distancing during classes, as well as, the current capacity limit of 25% imposed by the State of New Jersey.

3. No one will be permitted to wait inside the dojo for students due to current building capacity limits imposed by the State of New Jersey. Parents/friends may wait in their vehicles or outside while adhering to all current State of New Jersey requirements pertaining to social distancing and masks.

4. There will be no physical contact between students unless they are members of the same family or household.

5. Activities will be light to moderate physical exertion.

6. All students and instructors will be screened prior to entry. TRUTHFUL ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS ARE EXPECTED. Screening will be conducted one at a time by the senior instructors present. All students and instructors will be required to remain outside of the dojo and adhering to current State of New Jersey requirements including but not limited to social distancing and wearing of masks prior to screening for entry. If you are sick, please stay home and take care of yourself so that we can see you when you are well.

7. All students and instructors will be required to clean their hands upon entry with hand sanitizer (provided). Hand sanitizer and hand soap will be be available for use before and during classes.

8. Changing rooms will be closed to students. Please come dressed ready for classes.

9. Bathroom facilities will be available to students and instructors with a capacity of one.

10. Cleaning and sanitizing will be done before, during, and after classes as required.

Additional requirements and restrictions will be reviewed during classes.

Reminder to all our students:

We are continuing our virtual classes while the physical school is temporarily closed (and hopefully reopening soon!). We are offering online instruction on our normal class days (Tuesday and Fridays) and a bonus class on Mondays. We hope many of you will join us and stay connected.

In compliance with Governor Murphy’s order today and current CDC guidance, all classes will be suspended. We will continue to monitor information from Public Health officials and advise when classes can resume. Everyone please stay safe and healthy. We look forward to seeing everyone once this Public Health Emergency is under control.
