We are so happy with our turnout from the 2024 Fun on the Farm!!
Before we get into all that we accomplished this fantastic year we need to say a huge thank you to Hemdale Farms (). Hemdale is a 3rd time host of Fun on the Farm, and they completely raised the bar for Fun on the Farms to come! We had our biggest turnout and it's thanks to all of their trust.
This is a Beautiful farm with so much to see and it absolutely added to the charm of this event. These are pictures of their beautiful mascots, Hazel, Sprinkles, Josh Allen, and Bridget!

• We gave 1,500 school kids a chance to see how a farm operates on Friday as a field trip, driving a total of 65 wagon loads of kids through the Barns! This is the biggest amount we have made possible across all of our previous years!
• And on Saturday we had nearly 4,000 people come to see what this is all about!!
• We utilized help, equipment, and food from over 450 volunteers.
This event is run on volunteers, and built on trust that we can pull it together!
This year we were able to add new things to our program, a Dairy Birthing Center (which ran phenomenally smooth), the NYAAC Mobile Dairy Experience (), and more games for kids!

Fun on the Farm in Ontario County is a completely Free event, our only goal is to educate the community on the importance of agriculture, and we bring every aspect. Dairy, Beef, Apples, Fruits, Vegetables, Juice, Cheese, Soil and Water, Maple, Insects, etc. This is one of the most agricultural specific immersive experiences you can have in New York State. Showing the Environmental, Economic, and Social aspects of how food is produced on a farm today.

If you joined either Friday or Saturday we hope you had as good of a time as our volunteers.
If you missed us this year. Join us in September of 2026 at Lawnhurst Farm in Stanley, NY. This will also be their 3rd year hosting!

Manchester Shortsville group 39 wanted to be the first ones here today!! ⛺
They were so excited for Fun on the Farm that they decided to use this as a learning opportunity and have kids learn skills by camping on the lawn over night!
The Boy Scout troop will be here today, representing themselves and showing off their wonderful skills. They are going to be manning the straw bale maze which you should absolutely make a point in checking out!

What a wonderful opportunity for these bright young kids! We hope to see you today at Fun on the Farm!!
