About the teacher:
Daniel Lyng, tenor, graduated from Shenendehowa High School in 2012. He is now a student at the prestigious Eastman School of Music. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Music Education. Dan is a classically-trained musician and is experienced with opera, art song, and musical theatre. He firmly believes that the vocal techniques that he teaches can be applied to
all genres, including jazz and popular music. What students can expect to learn:
Students will learn the fundamentals of basic vocal technique. They will be exposed to a wide variety of repertoire across many genres that is fun and that promotes healthy singing. If you are looking to improve your vocal technique, or if you are just getting started, Dan will help you find your voice. Location:

Scheduling and Pricing:
Lessons are given on a weekly basis. These one hour lessons cost $30 each. For younger students, half hour slots are available for $20
Payments can be made by cash or check at the time of the lesson. Lessons may be cancelled 24 hours in advance, and a make-up lesson may be scheduled. If a lesson is cancelled after this 24 hour period, payment will still be due. Lessons begin the week of May 11th.
