Orenda families!! Please mark your calendars for our “back to school” Walk Through on Wednesday, September 2 from 2-3 PM! The walk-through is a chance for all families to visit the building, meet (AND JOIN!) the PTA, orient to your child’s new classroom, and “get the lay of the land.” It’s also a chance for Family’s new to Orenda to meet Principal Giagni from 2:00 to 2:15 PM in the cafeteria. More info will come with teacher assignments later this month. We can’t wait for another awesome year at Orenda, where’s it’s ALWAYS “80 degrees and sunny” 😎 🦅 💜 💚

Wanted: Social Media Hype Person! 📣

It’s a struggle every parent knows: sorting through endless emails and forms just to find out when school pictures are.

We want to make it easier. We are looking for someone who can help Orenda PTA clearly and concisely share just the most important school events, deadlines, and news right where parents are already looking—on social media.

If you are a parent at Orenda Elementary, are social media savvy, and are looking for a way to give back that doesn’t involve bake sales or chaperoning a field trip, we have the perfect gig for you.

Orenda PTA is looking for our new Social Media Manager! 📱🚀

The Role: You’ll be the voice of Orenda on Instagram and Facebook, keeping our families in the loop on upcoming important days, deadlines for book orders, and all the exciting PTA-funded events.

The Perks:

✅ Total Flexibility: This job is 100% remote. You can do it from your couch, your office, the carpool lane—anywhere!

🎈 Today was installation day for the winner of our Elementary School Giveaway!

We spent the afternoon at Orenda Elementary School bringing a little extra color and fun to their end-of-year celebrations. Here’s a quick peek at what the students will be walking into tomorrow morning. ✨

Thank you to everyone who came out to Hayner's Ice Cream Night! It was great seeing so many families enjoying ice cream and spending time with friends.
