Following the flooding at our school, so many members of our community reached out to ask how they could help. Your kindness and willingness to support our school has meant more to us than we can say.

We would love to invite you to join us for our Sara Marie Community Care Days on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30.

Our primary focus will be caring for and refreshing our outdoor spaces so they are clean, safe and welcoming for the children’s return. Projects may include playground cleanup, weeding, raking, spreading mulch or playground chips, cleaning outdoor equipment, organizing materials and completing other outdoor beautification projects.

🌼 A Pre-K/TK Spot Just Opened! 🌼

We have a rare opening in our Pre-K/Transitional Kindergarten classroom at The Sara Marie School for the 2026–2027 school year! 💛💚

This could be a wonderful fit if your child:

🐝 Is 4 years old and Pre-K age, OR
🐝 Is 5 years old and kindergarten eligible, but your family has decided to give them an additional year before Kindergarten.

Our Transitional Kindergarten (TK) option gives kindergarten-eligible children the gift of an extra year to grow socially, emotionally, and academically while still being challenged and prepared for their next step.

🌼 Full Day: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
🌼 Before Care: 7:15–8:00 AM
🌼 After School: 3:00–5:30 PM
🌼 Small, nurturing classroom environment
🌼 Hands-on learning with a strong focus on kindergarten readiness and social-emotional development

The flooding that hit our area today damaged our sweet little school. We’re still assessing all the damage downstairs, which will take place over the next few days. This one hurts, but we’ll get through this together as a family, as we always do.
💚💛 The Sara Marie School is so incredibly special to so many of us. We are a small group of women who love our jobs, this school, our community, all of our past and present students & their families. We are a nonprofit school, any help at all would be so appreciated.

A huge thank you to our Sara Marie school dads and uncles for coming out and showing up despite the rain today! We truly appreciate everyone who took the time to join us and make the day special.
From the games to the snacks and drinks, it was wonderful seeing everyone having fun and creating memories together. Rain couldn't stop the smiles and laughter! Thank you all for your support and for making today such a great time.

On Thursday, thankfully, the weather cooperated enough for us to enjoy Jani Poppin Bubbles on day four of our countdown. 🫧 We had so much fun jumping, dancing, running around, trying to catch the bubbles, and listening to the music. It was truly a magical day. Just three days left of the 2026 Sara Marie school year!

Day 3 of our 7 day countdown! A huge thank you to John Farrell and his wife, Ann Marie, for visiting the Sara Marie School! Our students had such a wonderful time singing along to your songs and sharing in the joy of music together. Thank you for creating such a fun and memorable experience for our children—we loved every minute of it! 🎶❤️🎤

Day 2 of our 7 day Countdown to Summer was a camping adventure!
Our students had so much fun embracing the camping theme and ending the day with delicious s'mores.What a sweet way to celebrate another special day together!Only 5 more days to go until summer break! 💚💛
