October is here, and we’re ready to SPARK some FFA fun!

Take a look at the calendar and create some opportunities to Spark your Passion & Ignite Your Future!

We have something exciting for our members this month! We will be attending Farmer Mike’s Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch!

Requirements:
💥$10 field trip cost
💥Earned at least 1 FFA point by attending a chapter meeting.
💥No D’s or F’s on your quarter 1 report card
💥95% or higher attendance for quarter 1

Only the first 45 Members who complete ALL the requirements will be able to attend! Spots are first come, first served, so don’t wait!

Permission slips and money will be accepted starting October 5th.

A little slime, a LOT of FFA fun! Today we got hands-on learning about the Agriculture Education Three-Circle Model and learned that FFA, SAE, and Classroom all work together to create the full FFA experience! ✨

When all three stick together… that’s when sparks fly and your future is ignited! 💥⚡️

🔥 CMS FFA IS ON FIRE! 🔥

Our CMS FFA students recently put their public speaking skills to the test at the Florida Farm Bureau Speech Contest, tackling an important topic for Florida Agriculture: What collaborative ways can we prevent invasive species in Florida?

And WOW did they show up!

We are SO proud of all three of these young ladies for stepping outside their comfort zones, putting in the practice, and confidently sharing their ideas about protecting the future of Florida Agriculture.

This is what FFA is all about, building confident leaders, developing real-world skills, and giving students opportunities to find their voice.

Leadership isn’t just about wearing the blue jacket, it’s about learning how to lead the people around you.

Our CMS FFA Chapter President and Vice President had an incredible experience at Chapter Presidents’ Conference (CPC)! They spent time developing the skills that strong leaders need both inside and outside of the FFA:

✨ Understanding and working through conflict
✨ Building a positive and resilient mindset
✨ Learning how to delegate tasks and trust their team
✨ Discovering ways to support, encourage, and communicate with their peers
✨ Growing into the kind of leaders who don’t just give directions—but help others succeed

Being a chapter president or vice president is about more than having a title. It’s about serving your chapter, lifting up your teammates, handling challenges with maturity, and creating an environment where everyone feels valued.

We are excited to see our student leaders take what they learned at CPC and bring it back to CMS FFA! 💙

Who said learning FFA history had to be boring? Our 7th grade students took everything from the founding of the FFA to important moments in our history and turned it into MEMES, and honestly… some of these are way too accurate.
