Today in Horticulture, students explored the garden to determine whether the plants we are growing are monocots and dicots! 🌱

They observed characteristics such as the amount of petals on flowers, the shape of their leaves, and what type of veins they had to draw their conclusions! ✨🌼

Meet our President, Riley Sutton! ✨

Riley became an FFA officer to be a voice for the agriculture industry, develop leadership skills, and advocate for her community. 💙

Her favorite FFA activity is the annual Cattle in the Cane prospect show because it allows her to both show her livestock and play a role in coordinating the show. 🐮

Her favorite FFA memory is ranking 9th overall individual in the State Livestock Judging Preliminaries and getting to compete in the State Finals! 🏅

Riley’s favorite bible verse is Luke 1:45. ✝️
