🦖🥚 Dinosaur Egg Explosion! 🥚🦖

Today’s STEM experiment was a HUGE hit! Our little scientists got to hatch their very own dinosaur eggs filled with cornstarch and baking soda. Then came the exciting part—vinegar! 🫧🌋

Our bigger littles poured cups of vinegar over their eggs, while our twos used droppers to carefully add theirs, watching as the eggs fizzed, bubbled, and slowly revealed the dinosaurs hiding inside! 😍

The excitement on their faces as those little dinosaurs emerged was priceless! We were learning about cause and effect, reactions, prediction, fine motor skills, and observation—all while having a whole lot of fun.

💙💛 What a wonderful night! 💛💙

We had such a great time tonight at the Open House at the elementary and middle school! It was so much fun meeting new families, seeing some familiar faces, and catching up with families who have been part of our Little Blue Jays family. 🥰

We also had the pleasure of having our booth right next to our friends at Christian County Library 📚💙 If you haven’t checked out their kids’ department, you definitely should! They have an amazing children’s department and host wonderful events for kids and families throughout the month. We love getting the opportunity to partner alongside other organizations that care so much about our community and our children!

Tonight was all about connecting with our community, meeting new families, answering questions, seeing familiar faces, and getting our name—and our faces—out there! 🫶

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by to say hello. We truly enjoyed meeting each and every one of you!

We are so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful community and are excited about all the new connections and friendships to come. 💙🐦

One big Volcano to do together 🌋

🌋🦖 Today was absolutely AMAZING and FULL of learning! 🦖🌋

Our littles got to become little scientists as we learned all about volcanoes and what happens when they erupt! They each got to make their very own volcano explode, and let me tell you… the excitement was REAL! 😂

We talked about dinosaurs, the meteor that struck Earth, and how scientists believe that event played a major role in the extinction of the dinosaurs. We also talked about how God created the dinosaurs and how He was part of their story, too. ✝️🦕 What a wonderful opportunity for questions, conversations, and learning!
And a HUGE shout-out to Miss Justine! 👏💗 She made every single one of these volcanoes from scratch—including painting them—and it took her several days to get them ready. The time and love she put into creating this experience for our littles is incredible!

The kiddos poured their own vinegar into the volcanoes, added the baking powder, and waited anxiously for that BIG eruption! 🌋🫧

Hands-on science, dinosaurs, faith, curiosity, and a whole lot of messy fun… this is learning they won't forget! 💙🦖🌋

Our twos were on a color hunt today! They searched the room for the colors they were given and then used color mats to match them. 🌈

Our threes worked hard on tracing fun shape cards and practicing their names. Their pencil grip and tracing skills are getting so good, and we are loving watching their confidence grow! ✏️😊

Preschool had fun with fossil sensory bins and even turned it into a little math experiment—comparing the weight of the dinosaurs and fossils to see which was heavier. They also practiced matching dinosaur letters and completing dinosaur color matches. 🦕🔤

We finished with the silly and fun book How Do Dinosaurs Eat? 📚🦖 And apparently, when the teachers sit on the floor afterward, that's an invitation for a full-on tackle session! 😂
