Our NEW one-week course prepares young artists for our Pre-College program — a college-credit experience where students spend two weeks in our studios leveling-up their skills while getting a taste of what art school is all about!

In Pre-College Prep, students build essential skills in observational drawing, strengthening their ability to see, analyze and translate the world around you. Plus, they'll explore mixed media, experimenting with materials and developing a personal approach to making!

Cameraless Photography? That's right!
In this 4 week course, you'll learn how to make cyanotype and silver gelatin photograms in a traditional wet lab darkroom, and how to utilize these same techniques to make photograms at home without specialized equipment!

You'll also learn about the history of photogenic drawing, and look at historical and contemporary examples and practices.

Class runs June 13 – July 11 (no class July 4)

What is Pre-College Prep? 🤔

Ever wanted to make your own clothes? 🪡✂️
In introduction to sewing students will complete a series of projects over the course of 8 weeks that will teach the basics of sewing. Class will focus on learning pattern making for garments, and how to sew different seams. This will all accumulate to a final project where students will make their own garment to take home from the course!
