Young Entrepreneur Institute Young Entrepreneur Institute at University School connects Northeast Ohio students, educators and schools with entrepreneur organizations.

We believe that every child should understand and experience entrepreneurship. Young Entrepreneur Institute at University School was founded in 2006 to help students learn entrepreneurial skills, provide opportunities to experience entrepreneurship, connect to other Northeast Ohio students and entrepreneur organizations, and encourage them to return to Northeast Ohio to pursue careers. Since its founding, several thousand students have participated in one or more Young Entrepreneur Institute activities. In addition, many educators and schools across the region have benefited from the programs, materials and advice provided by the Institute. With activities ranging from classes to competitions, apprenticeships to guest speakers, the Young Entrepreneur Institute helps students learn about and experience entrepreneurship. In addition to a robust suite of activities for University School students, the Young Entrepreneur Institute supports the broader youth entrepreneurship ecosystem with community-wide programs for students and educators.

YEI Power Hours are a series of free monthly webinars designed to provide educators with the tools and connections they need to bring entrepreneurship lessons and activities to K-12 students in the classroom and out-of-school.

This month's edition focused on creative learning that builds entrepreneurial mindsets. We heard from Jaikaran Sawhny and Roshni Sawhny from StoryPie and Ben Colas from Forest City Academy.
