Afterschool ARTS classes at Friendly Inn Settlement, Inc.

As we gear up for Summer Foluke Cultural Arts Center is seeking donations of beginner hand instruments to expand access to music education for youth across Cleveland. Instruments such as tambourines, maracas, unused recorders, ukulele, guitars, and similar instrumental tools will help young participants explore rhythm, build confidence, and express themselves through the arts.

Your donation and new or gently used instruments directly supports hands on learning and positive youth development.

We are one of the partners working with Sisters of Charity Health System to present this summer enrichment program in the Central Neighborhood. We are celebrating 24 years in Arts Ed programming with the past 17 years focused on the Central Neighborhood. Foluke Cultural Arts is now Multidisciplinary Arts focused offering classes in Theater, Visual Arts, Graphic Arts, Film and Photography, Creative Movement, and Music
We have been severely impacted by budget cuts that are a fallout of the current administration but continue to provide our services free or at reduced cost just as it was when you were active in our programs.
A contribution of at least $10 is appreciated; more is welcome. Please give what you feel comfortable with. Contributions are tax deductible. Volunteering for summer or afterschool programs is also an option.
