Our high school scholars traded their pencils for goggles and gloves as they explored, experimented, and put their scientific thinking to work! 🥼🧤 From collaboration to curiosity, experiences like these allow our scholars to learn beyond the textbook and see science in ACTION.

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity and support of the Golden Girls and Gents of Cleveland, a nonprofit organization committed to partnering with and sponsoring schools throughout the Greater Cleveland area.

Through their generous donation, our K–5 scholars received book bags filled with school supplies, while our 6th–10th grade scholars received book bags filled with essential toiletries and personal-care items. 🎒📚✏️🧴

Your kindness and commitment to supporting our scholars and school community truly make a difference. It takes a village, and we are thankful to have organizations like yours investing in our students and helping them start the school year prepared and confident! ❤️

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our longtime Speech and Language Pathologist and dear friend, Kate Penn.

Kate was the kind of person who made everyone feel welcome. Her positive attitude, genuine kindness, and passion for living life to the fullest left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Whether she was supporting students, encouraging colleagues, or sharing the mission of Performance Academies with families in the community, Kate gave her whole heart to everything she did.

We could always count on Kate. Throughout her years with Performance Academies, she touched the lives of countless students, families, and staff members. While the space she leaves behind can never truly be filled, we know our schools and our community are better because we had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

We will deeply miss her larger-than-life personality, her contagious smile, and the incredible hugs that made so many people feel seen, valued, and cared for.

Our hearts are with Kate's family and friends. We are holding them close in our thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time and extend our deepest love and support.

Kate's legacy lives on through the lives she touched, the students she championed, the colleagues she encouraged, and the countless moments of kindness she shared. She will forever be a part of the Performance Academies family and will be deeply missed.

A proud Cleveland native, Principal Bragg will lead Cleveland Performance High School, located inside Harvard Avenue Performance Academy, while continuing to serve as Assistant Principal for grades K–8. This expanded leadership role is a testament to her unwavering commitment to our scholars, staff, and school community.

As she begins her fifth year with Performance Academies, Principal Bragg remains dedicated to building a culture where every student feels seen, supported, and challenged to reach their highest potential. She believes that strong relationships with students, families, and staff are the foundation of success, and her focus on high expectations, data-informed instruction, and continuous growth helps ensure every scholar has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
