CSU Awarded NIH S10 Research Instrumentation Grant

Cleveland State was awarded a $250,000 grant to acquire a liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) instrument that will support ongoing NIH-funded research at CSU and help increase research capacity. The grant is led by Dr. Yana Sandlers, an associate professor in the Department of Chemistry, and includes faculty members Dr. Xue-Long Sun, Dr. Aimin Zhou, and Dr. Bin Su as major users of the system.

CSU Alumni Took a Chance and Ended Up Showing at the Tribeca Film Festival

Joe Kowalski's (BA ’17) documentary took him and his film crew -- including fellow CSU grads Tom Zavertnik (BFA ’20), Andrew Jurcak (BA ’11) and Mohit Kulkarni (BFA ’21) -- out on what became a cross-country and international odyssey to tell the story of the people who a part of micronation communities, and then to screening for A-listers at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.
