What a wonderful article highlighting our workforce development through Youth Opportunities Unlimited - this summer, we hired 6 staff members who were once participants in our programs!
A great full circle moment, check out this story that highlights a few of them here: https://www.youcle.org/stories/2026/7/returning-to-serve-from-campers-to-counselors?fbclid=IwVERDUATUZ_hwZG9mAWZkaWQWULUn56uoQn7hQzda79XU-Hvqskx4x2V4dG4DYWVtAjExAHNydGMGYXBwX2lkCjY2Mjg1NjgzNzkAAR64S70LPxrlN5-nxOmXz-6-KDz6EYCEdQXzqfKTZ-x_A2nasj4VqqILBvqU1Q_aem_yxk_rEgmpGm3vLDgOu58Gg

This past week, our summer camp students participated in a service project for City Dogs Cleveland 🐶✨ We donated tennis balls, treats and made over 100 thank you bags for adopters! 🎾🦴
In addition, our students designed their own adoption posters for adoptable dogs who are in need of a home.. this was a very fun & fitting way for our students to give back this summer 🫶
If you’re looking to adopt a dog, go check out the dogs waiting at the Cleveland kennel 💙

We have some future space engineers among us! 🚀✨ Last week at camp, MAGNET showed our students how to create their own rockets and each student got to launch them afterward!
A huge thank you to MAGNET for always being a wonderful partner and giving our students exposure into some amazing STEM opportunities & careers 👏

🎾 What a day at The Cleveland Market! We had an absolute blast getting so many kids out on the tennis court, swinging racquets, learning new skills, and having fun with the game. The energy was incredible, and seeing all those smiles made our day!
If you missed us today, don’t worry—we’ll be back tomorrow from 10 AM–4 PM at Tyler Village! Come join us for tennis, laughs, and a great time with family and friends. You can also sign up to learn more about what programs we offer. We’d love to see even more future tennis stars out on the court!
🎾☀️ See you tomorrow!

We’re so grateful to all the families who signed up for Read & Rally! Unfortunately, due to expected heavy rain and possible thunderstorms tomorrow morning, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the event for everyone’s safety.
While we’re disappointed, we’re excited to reschedule for later this summer and will share a new date with everyone soon 💛
Thank you for your understanding and support. We can’t wait to see everyone soon under sunnier skies! ☀️

Student Spotlight : Beyond the Baseline 🎾
Meet Peyton!
Peyton has been a cornerstone of our program for years, steadily developing into one of our strongest and most competitive tennis players. Her commitment to improving her game is clear in the way she shows up focused, disciplined, and always pushing herself to the next level. Peyton’s hard work has earned her multiple “Best Player of the Season” recognitions across both Middle School Club Tennis and our Summer Camps, a reflection of her consistency and drive. One of her standout moments came at the NJTL Midwest Meetup at the Western & Southern Open, where, at just 12 years old, she took on a 17-year-old top high school player and secured an impressive win, showcasing her confidence and composure under pressure. Now training with the high-performance group at the Cleveland Racquet Club and beginning to compete in tournaments, Peyton continues to elevate her game. Off the court, she maintains a strong 3.7 GPA, participates in Model UN, and plays saxophone in her school band, all while being a positive role model and leader. We are excited to support Peyton as she continues to grow both as a player and a person.
Way to go Peyton! ✨
