Northwest School of the Arts Welcome to Northwest School of the Arts! We are a K-8 tuition-free, public charter school.

We serve the Northwest Cleveland community with an 18+ year reputation as one of the top-performing, award-winning public schools in Cleveland. In addition to multiple 4-star ratings for academics, we emphasize an Arts Education. Beginning in Kindergarten, students participate in regular Art, Music & Writing instruction. In Grades 4+ students choose an Arts emphasis for deeper study such as Fine Art, Visual Art, Creative Writing, Band, Choir, Dance, or Theatre. We offer an accredited and well-rounded program that includes an abundance of extracurriculars and school services such as free meals, afterschool programs, summer programs, Early K & more!

Breakfast with Dad — September 17!

Calling all fathers, grandfathers, uncles, older brothers, and mentors. Come start the day with your student at Northwest School of the Arts.

Breakfast is served starting at 7:30 AM. At 8:30 AM, walk your student to class and see where their day begins.

Don’t have a student at NWSOTA yet? Come anyway. Grab a plate, take a tour, and see what we’re building. Enrollment is always open.

Every child deserves to see the men in their life show up for them. Come eat, come walk them in, come be present.

Due to the extreme heat index, there will be no school tomorrow, Wednesday, September second. All classes and after school activities are canceled.

Students will return to school on Thursday, September third.

Please also remember there is no school on Friday, September fourth, or Monday, September seventh, for the holiday weekend.

Please keep your children cool and hydrated, and check on your neighbors.
