Connection is built one conversation—and sometimes one step—at a time.
Rekindle is proud to launch the inaugural Walk for Unity in Cleveland.
As an organization founded in Cleveland by Black and Jewish leaders, Rekindle believes that bringing people together is one of the most powerful ways to combat hate and division. This event is an opportunity for our entire community to put that belief into action.
Join us on Sunday, October 11 for:
🏃 A timed 5K Run
🚶 A 1-Mile Community Walk
Everyone is welcome.
We're also seeking corporate and community sponsors who want to demonstrate their commitment to building bridges and strengthening our city. Sponsorship opportunities are now available.
Register today or inquire about sponsorships:

Baltimore is showing us what happens when we stop talking about alliance and start building it. The Baltimore Rekindle chapter recently brought together Black and Jewish leaders for honest dialogue, moving past the surface to address the real work of co-creating sustainable local initiatives. Every meaningful community starts with a room.
A room where people choose curiosity over certainty.
A room where listening matters as much as speaking.
A room where strangers become neighbors—and neighbors become partners.
The spaces we create today shape the trust we'll rely on tomorrow.
Who are you building those kinds of relationships with?
Tag someone who's helping build a stronger community, one conversation at a time.

Big community events don't happen overnight—they're built through conversations, collaboration, and a lot of planning.
This behind-the-scenes moment from our **June 7 Board Meeting** captures the work that happens long before a program or event comes to life.
Right now, our team is preparing for:
• 🚶 Walk for Unity
• 🤝 July community gatherings
• 🍂 The early foundations of our fall programming
Every meeting, every idea, and every partnership is part of building stronger, more connected communities.
We're excited to share what's ahead—and we're glad you're on the journey with us.
Follow along to see what's coming this summer.
