Recruiting participants in NE Ohio for a research study testing ways to help dementia caregivers
This is an NIH-funded research study led by Dr. Jaclene Zauszniewski of the FPB School of Nursing at CWRU. A few weeks ago, we officially celebrated the appointment of Dr. Zauszniewski, PhD, RN-BC, FAAN, as the inaugural Catherine Seibyl BSN, MSN, MPH Professor in Nursing, Research and Caregiving. At the ceremony, Medicine's Dr. Evan Deneris, was also honored as the inaugural John Seibyl MD Professor in Neurodegenerative Research. Congratulations to them both!

We are looking to enroll a few more people in our study before recruitment closes soon. If your family member with dementia moved into a care facility within the last 12 months, you could be eligible for our study about caregiver stress and health. Send us a message to learn more!
If you cared for a family member with dementia who passed away in the last year, you could be a good fit for our study - you learn a stress reduction method and provide feedback on its effectiveness.
