Hello, Falcons!!!! Here’s a message from Mrs. Harris on what she’s been doing this summer…

🦅🐝 From Falcon roots to a buzzing new adventure!

Today was such a special experience as my uncle Ricky Hall, a proud former Falcon, invited my brother and me to help him work with his beehives. We got a firsthand look at his newest passion: beekeeping!

It was amazing to see the bees in action and learn just how important they are to our world. From pollinating plants to supporting our food systems, these tiny workers play a huge role in keeping our ecosystems thriving. And of course, his bees make the yummiest honey! 🍯

Moments like this are a great reminder of the lifelong learning we hope to inspire at Oak Grove—staying curious, getting hands-on, and appreciating the world around us. 🐝💛

☀️🌳 What has Mrs. Beaty been up to this summer? 🐾☀️

Mrs. Beaty has been making the most of summer by enjoying the beautiful outdoor recreation areas our community has to offer with her family and her sweet dog, Canyon! 🐶💚 She’s also having a BLAST with friends and students from surrounding Bradly County Schools at Cosmic Quest Summer Camp.

So far, she has:
🌲 Explored local parks, trails, and rivers
🐾 Taken lots of adventures with Canyon
👨‍👩‍👧 Spent quality time with family
🍦 Made memories with friends and fellow teachers
🚀 Had a blast with her Oak Grove Cosmic Quest Summer Camp crew
☀️ Enjoyed every chance to soak up the sunshine and fresh air

Mrs. Beaty is having a wonderful summer and can’t wait to hear about all of YOUR adventures, Falcons! 🌎✨

Mrs. Collins has been soaking up the sunshine on a beach trip with her husband and their friends! 🌊🐚

So far, she has:
🎣 Gone on a deep-sea fishing adventure
🐬 Taken a dolphin cruise
🏖️ Enjoyed relaxing at the beach every day
🍽️ Eaten lots of delicious dinners and treats
☀️ Made wonderful memories with friends and family

🎓✨ Oh, the places they’ll go! ✨🎓

We celebrated some very special little learners at Oak Grove Elementary’s Kindergarten Graduation! 💚🖤 From learning letters and numbers to making friendships and memories that will last a lifetime, these sweet Falcons have grown so much this year.

It feels like just yesterday they walked through our doors with tiny backpacks and nervous smiles… and now they are leaving Kindergarten full of confidence, curiosity, and BIG dreams! 🥹📚✏️

We are so proud of each and every one of our graduates and cannot wait to see all the amazing things they accomplish in the years ahead. Keep shining bright, little Falcons — first grade is lucky to have you! 🌟
