YEP-CLE is a nonpartisan organization that connects tomorrow’s education leaders through relationship-building, knowledge development, career and professional development, and community. The original Young Education Professionals (YEP) was founded in Washington, DC in the late 1990s by leaders such as Michael Petrilli (now Executive Vice President, Thomas B. Fordham Institute) and Jennifer Vranek (now Founding Partner, Education First Consulting). YEP-CLE is a completely volunteer-run organization. Viewpoints expressed on this page are not attributable to YEP-CLE, a nonpartisan organization. Rather, this page aims to expose readers to a range of information and perspectives related to education and to allow readers to discuss these issues.
