🚨CAMPUS UPDATE: As a result of the City of Cleveland water main break under E. 22nd Street, both Berkman Hall and the Student Center will be closed for the remainder of today, Tuesday, Sept. 22.

- All classes scheduled in Berkman Hall are cancelled for the remainder of today. This cancellation applies only to Berkman Hall.
- Students with a meal plan can go to the Fenn Tower ballroom between 2-7 p.m. for a dining buffet.
- Professional staff in affected buildings should work remotely for the remainder of today.

Today, we officially celebrated the transformation of Fenn Tower with a ribbon-cutting. ✂️💚

Originally built in the 1930s, the historic building has been renovated into a first-year residence hall, preserving its legacy while creating a modern living experience for the next generation of Vikes.

Here’s to the next chapter of Fenn Tower.

Cleveland State University and Cleveland Play House are excited to announce an innovative partnership to reshape the future of American theatre right here in Cleveland.

This alliance will give students, regardless of their major, opportunities to engage in the arts in the heart of Playhouse Square, one of the country’s most thriving theatre districts.

CSU students will have new avenues to learn from artists, performers, technicians, producers, marketers and arts administrators — gaining insight into how theatre is imagined, produced, managed and shared with audiences. Cleveland Play House will remain an independent professional regional theatre, preserving the mission, programming, and identity that have defined CPH for more than a century while opening exciting new possibilities for our organization, our region, and the next generation of theatre professionals.
