Truett McConnell University joins the Milligan University community in mourning the loss of two student-athletes from their cycling team, who lost their lives in this morning's tragic accident. Our hearts go out to the other team members who were injured, and we lift them up in prayer for a swift and full recovery. To the entire Milligan family, students, faculty, staff and loved ones, please know that the Truett McConnell family stands with you in prayer during this heartbreaking time. May God grant you His comfort, His peace, and the strength to endure in the days ahead.

We are profoundly shocked and saddened to share that members of our cycling team were in an accident involving a vehicle this morning while cycling in Hampton, TN. Sophomores Haylan Engdahl and Brayden Rogers were killed in this accident. Multiple other Milligan cyclists were also seriously injured and are currently receiving treatment at the Johnson City Medical Center. There are no words to adequately describe this level of loss. Our prayers are with all those impacted by this tragedy. Please keep the Milligan community in your prayers.
