ππ The Strawberry Moon returns on June 29, bringing one of the most beloved full moons of the year.
Despite its name, the Moon won't actually appear red or pink. The name comes from Native American traditions, where this full moon marked the season for harvesting wild strawberries.
This year's Strawberry Moon is even more special, as it will be the final Micromoon of 2026, occurring near the Moon's farthest point from Earth.
For just one night, summer, history, and the night sky come together in a beautiful celestial display.
Look up, take a moment, and enjoy one of nature's most timeless spectacles. β¨ππ

Anyone have advice?
Would anyone like to take over being the admin for this page? I no longer teach 5th grade science.

Iβm starting with forces & motion this year again per district scope & sequence. Who has wonderful ideas for this for me? Itβs my first year in class for science.
Welcome back to school mode-ish science teachers. Let's share where you teach in OH. What are you doing to prep for this year?
Ecosystems for the test! What do they need to especially know? Iβm new to science this year. Help please.
