We are committed to helping each child develop his/her own unique self, promoting confidence, independence and self-reliance through "hands on" learning.
We offer nursery school and educational child care programs for children 3 through 11 years of age, consisting of small class groups, as well as meeting the emotional, social, physical and cognitive development of children through various educational experiences. Discovery World lead teachers have degrees in Early Childhood Education and all teachers are required to complete 10-15 hours each year

#40…in the books! 👨🏼🎓 Our Graduation/Year-End Celebration was fun and emotional as we said goodbye to children heading off to kindergarten and families we’ve known for many years! But we’re happy to have lots of returning kids and looking forward to a great summer and new school year ahead! To all of our Discovery World families…thank you for trusting us and sharing your children with us! ❤️

A HUGE THANK YOU to all the families who made us feel so special and appreciated this week! From delicious treats, gift cards, lunch, creative gifts, sentiment-filled cards and flowers to spoken words of gratitude, we truly felt the love! We’re very grateful for our teachers who work so hard to provide a loving, nurturing, fun-filled learning environment for our mighty preschoolers! ❤️

We had an enjoyable Saturday morning as the Day School children and their moms/grandmas joined us for muffins and fun! Thanks to the Starr family and Camelot Bakery for donating the delicious muffins! Children and their moms/grandmas had fun with songs, art, story and a scavenger hunt! The children had to find the picture of their moms at their age, and the moms had to see if they could recognize their child’s eyes among their classmates’ eyes! Great morning! 🌸🤗🌺
Stop by the West Park branch library in the children’s section to see ART created by each of our students. Every piece has a story that goes along with it…just ask the artist! 😉🎨

All the classes had fun learning about community helpers and other professions! Thanks so much to Scott Sevier (construction worker), Kristen Case (teacher, read a story), Meredith Danko (banker) and Tim Shaffer (chef) for taking the time to visit the classrooms and share their professions!

It was a jungle in Bartter Hall as kids and their special adults joined us for Dads and Donuts! We enjoyed donuts, fruit and drinks and then rotated between story, songs, games, art and jungle fun! Thanks to all who joined us for a ROARING GOOD TIME! 🦁
