Music isn't the only language at ENCORE this year. Meet Yamini Kalluri, who brings dance to opening night.

Yamini Kalluri is a world-class Kuchipudi dancer (disciple of legendary Dr. Sobha Naidu) based in the US where she teaches, performs and choreographs full-time. An artist who is at once deeply traditional, but also flirts with the avant-garde, Kalluri is a performer/choreographer not to be missed as Indian classical dance continues to conquer new stages abroad. What does home sound like?
For Jinjoo Cho, it's the music she brings back to Northeast Ohio every summer. Born in Seoul and raised in Cleveland, violinist Jinjoo Cho founded ENCORE Chamber Music Institute in 2015 to reimagine how young artists experience mentorship and collaboration. A globe-trotting soloist and Gold Medalist of the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis, Jinjoo is also Associate Professor of Violin at Northwestern University, dedicated to nurturing the next generation of artist-citizens.
