Ok I launched my blog at b3etciam.com I am a homeschooler so i try to talk about how i plan and choose curriculum and put systems in place to keep me sane as i work from home. I am designing a planner to help keep track of it all. I was invited to talk at an online home school conference for Multi-ethnic homeschoolers.
I talk about nutrition because I am learning a whole hew way of cooking and eating. I had a baby in 2018 and that pregnancy was difficult for a while because i couldn't eat any animal products now i am on a mission to find vegan make and cheese that taste exactly like my dairy version i am hoping that cashew cheeses will be the answer or i can find a catering truck to solve everything. :P i have a lot to do.
I started homeschooling for a very simple reason the school i wanted to enroll my child in closed, but i keep homeschooling because i want my children to be more civic minded. Politics is supposed to be a duty of the populous and i fear it is a lost aspect of society as well as critical thinking. AI is on the rise and sadly it is being used for almost everything but should not take the place of human assessment. Give me the facts and let me decide. The current election cycle is very heated. all the division occurring on so many levels hits my family in a unique manner as i am a single minority with white passing children. I am targeted as evident by my experience in court last year. it was very clear to me the public defender didn't take my authority seriously at all and only after i had to dig deep to find the money to pay HSLDA was the situation handled. I need to make it very clear to the world via a public forum that i am not an utter fool. I am not a ward of the state. I am not a child. I am an adult. I am a libertarian and i am not a fan of big government. I don't like how they are in everything.

Socialization is never a problem. I am sick of it i had a baby i wanted to be in the bed.
What’s disturbing to me is that the schools teach some ideas as facts in an effort to change public opinion in a specific direction that they deem accurate and are attempting to raise a generation with a particular mindset.
For instance, global warming. Whether or not you believe global warming is real is irrelevant. The fact is that in science, something is not accepted as fact until there is a consensus among the scientific community. There is no consensus on global warming, yet our schools are teaching it to our kids as a matter of fact.
There is no fair balance about the opposing view and children are taught to believe that it is fact. This isn’t teaching. It’s not giving children the opportunity to learn both views, including all facts, and make their own opinions. This is our government telling our children how to think. This is in fact brainwashing.
