Many people think you only find data science in technical and professional industries. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. Statistics are all around us in our everyday lives, and you use them more than you think. Whether it’s in retail calculating losses or in the insurance industry tabulating rates for certain areas, data science is a deep dive into the specifics. Here are just a few industries with some outcomes that were found. Think about your industry or interest or expertise. What outcomes can you think of that relates to data science? We participated in a computer coding competition, visited Morehouse College, and networked with youth from all around the country. Wherever we are, we’re always working
