The American Ladder Institute (ALI) Safety Ambassador Program recognizes organizations that demonstrate their commitment to employee safety by ensuring that at least 80% of their ladder-using employees successfully complete ALI’s Ladder Safety Training program.
Organizations can qualify by having employees complete ALI’s training or by incorporating the training directly into their Learning Management System (LMS).
Required training includes:

▪️ Single, Extension & Telescoping Ladder Safety
▪️ Articulated Ladder Safety
▪️ Mobile Ladder Safety
As an ALI Safety Ambassador, your organization will:

âś… Be promoted through ALI and National Ladder Safety Month social media channels

The American Ladder Institute (ALI) is pleased to announce the release of the 2026 Ladder Safety Training and Citations Survey Report.
First launched in 2016, the survey is conducted every two years to better understand current ladder safety training practices, workplace citation trends, and how organizations educate employees on safe ladder use. The 2026 report includes comparisons with findings from the 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2024 surveys, providing valuable insights into how the industry continues to evolve.
Highlights from the report include:
- Types of ladder-related accidents and injuries
- Frequency of ladder citations
- The most common types of ladder citations
- Preferred methods of ladder safety education
