We are excited to launch Unite the C, a new program created to help connect our youth programs with Cleveland High School.

Each participating elementary school will have a designated Cleveland football night where students can come out, represent their school, and experience game night with the Blue Raiders.

Students from the featured school will receive free admission , have the opportunity to run out after the team through the band, sit together in a school spirit section, and help us recognize up to five students from their school during the game.

This is about building pride, connection, and excitement across our Cleveland community. Our future Blue Raiders matter, and we want them to feel part of what we are building.

🎙️ Celebrating Candy’s Creek Cherokee! 💙

Principal Sara Whitener joined our friends at Mix 104.1 this morning to spotlight Candy's Creek Cherokee Elementary School as this month’s Champion School!

Mrs. Whitener shared some of the great things happening across the school, celebrated their Champions of the Month, and highlighted upcoming events and activities that make the Candy’s Creek community so special.

Thank you, Mrs. Whitener, for representing your students and staff so well, and thank you to Mix 104.1 WCLE for continuing to help us share the great things happening across Cleveland City Schools!

There are some moments you just never forget. 💙🇺🇸

Today at Cleveland Middle School, an 8th-grade student received the surprise of a lifetime when her brother, Private First Class Mills, walked into the cafeteria after being away for a year and a half while serving in South Korea.

The surprise, the hugs and the joy of being together again made this such a special moment. Welcome home, PFC Mills, and thank you for your service! 🇺🇸💙

Cleveland Athletics is deeply saddened by the passing of Sonny Hicks, the longtime Voice of the Blue Raiders.

From 1974 to 2005, Sonny brought Cleveland football to life with his enthusiasm, unmistakable voice, and genuine love for our student athletes. For more than three decades, he celebrated the accomplishments of our teams while always making sure the spotlight remained on the young people he served.

Sonny’s voice became part of the tradition and history of Cleveland Athletics. His impact will live on through the countless players, coaches, families, and fans who had the privilege of hearing him call a Blue Raider game.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hicks family and everyone who loved him.

Thank you, Sonny, for giving generations of Blue Raiders a voice.
