As a recovering perfectionist, I still have to remind myself all the time “progress, not perfection,” including with a 📝 on my bathroom mirror and in my office.

Healing isn’t about doing it all perfectly—it’s about showing up, one step at a time. ✨

We’ve been conditioned to believe that our bodies must look or perform a certain way to be worthy of love.�
That if we’re 😩 sick, in pain, or don’t fit society’s standards, we should feel ashamed, hide, or “fix” ourselves through punishment, like restricting food and working out harder.

🚫 That narrative is toxic.�
Healing begins when we ✨deprogram that mindset✨ and start treating our bodies with the care, compassion, and respect they deserve—right now, exactly as they are.

🤯 Changing that programming on your own can be extremely challenging, because it’s nearly impossible to see our own blind spots. Not to mention becoming aware of and questioning the unhealthy narratives we tell ourselves subconsciously which *feel* like facts - but aren’t.
